This is our blog about the benefit for Hammer.

Note: (update) we are not putting out plastic jugs at places; the family does not want that.
We need door prizes and people to run around getting them. Dinner for 2 at various restaurants, bar tab at the bars, merchandise, etc.
We need someone to hit up Bass Pro and Cabella's and other such places.
Tickets for 50-50. We will do this several times each day, if we have a big enough crowd.
Tara is picking up the tickets for the 50-50.
Auction, raffle? Need items for that. Need people to visit and get things from local businesses.
We need people to email, text, put on their Facebook, etc. to help spread the word. All the information is available at www.riverratrob.com
Be great to have at least one banner for the event to hang on Diversions Canal at The TIki Hut. Trophies / plaques for the winners of the rodeo.
At The Tiki Hut: Guess the
weight of the biggest catfish and guess the weight of
the 6 catfish that win.
We will have $1.00 and $5.00 chances in each category. Winners get half and the
family gets the other half.
Need help putting up flyers.
Note: We can't sell catfish
we catch during the rodeo, however we can give them away.
Catfish fillets free and if you'd like to make a donation to the family, well,
then....
We might be selling catfish plates, jambalaya, etc. More on that later.
Looking for other ideas. If you have something, let us know.

Before Hammer's accident, we had already booked bands for Friday Night (1 Less Set), Saturday Night (Coozan) and Sunday Afternoon (Bent).
We will have some acoustic music during the day on Saturday.
Stray Monkey has volunteered, as well as Bill Romano and we looking for others. They'll perform Saturday afternoon / evening.
Toni O and Blue Haze has donated their time and will play Sunday evening (8:00 - 11:00 PM)
I (Rob) have volunteered
Jonathan's P.A. System (never seen or used in
public since his death).
We will use it on the outside deck to make announcements.
One thing to keep in mind and tell
others, we printed and laminated 400 flyers for the Catfish Rodeo
before
Hammer's tragic accident. (This is why the rodeo is not reflected
as a benefit).
Still need lots more help.

would rather fish in the rodeo, so we'd like to have some alternates, if you'd
