Anybody that owns a business knows that advertising is not cheap.  I am amazed that some places can spend as much as they do for advertising.  Often, small businesses can't afford the astronomical cost associated with advertising.  We try to make advertising easy, painless, and affordable.  We also want it to be a good deal for our customers.  When you advertise with us, you actually get something for it.  We have grown over the past several years and hope to continue.  Our advertisers help us continue to improve and we appreciate them.

In 2009, we currently have two ways to advertise with us and either should fit your business budget.  First, advertise on our website.  The cost is $100.00 for a year.  When you advertise with us, you get five of our previous maps (your choice) laminated.  (A $100.00 value).

Advertise on one of our maps.  We have a number of mapping projects for 2009.  Currently we are working on our Lake Verret (and surrounding waterways) map.  We are also re-making our 2007 Lake Maurepas Useful Boaters Map.  Future projects for 2009 include a satellite map of False River, a satellite map of the Atchafalaya Basin (Spillway), and a 911 version of the Lake Pontchartrain area.

The cost for a business card size ad on one of our maps is $250.00.  For advertising with us, you get $270.00 worth of our maps (not a bad deal).  Your choice of maps: flat, laminated, or folded.  If you choose to sell our maps, we list your business on the website as one of the places people can purchase the map locally.  You also get 30% off any additional maps.  The ad stays on the map for two years and we contact you first when we do a re-make.

Note:  If you own a business and would like to hang one of our maps for your customers to view, please contact us.

One of the big differences in advertising with us as opposed to newspapers, magazines, flyers, business cards, etc., is that these type of publications get thrown away.  People that purchase our maps usually buy more than one.  They hang them in their homes, office, camps, etc.  They usually have one on their boat for friends to see.  From our first map to present, our style of map making has improved.  We hope you decide to participate and be a part of what we do.

Hopefully, we will be branching out and doing other types of maps: parish maps, town / city maps, etc.  Two ideas that are being tossed around  are the Springfield area and Head of island / Maurepas area.

  Thank you,
