Volunteers: (Check back, more to come)
3-18-08
1. Help building and taking down the stage. Atlantic Scaffolding is donating the stage. (Very cool). However, we could use help unloading and helping Wyatt get it constructed. We will be doing this the entire week before the JAM. We'd like volunteers and back ups (alternates) in case someone does not show up that said they would.
2. Help putting up the pvc pipe and caution tape (probably Thursday or Friday) before The JAM. This is for the standing area, area behind the stage, and emergency boat lane out to deep water for medical / law enforcement. The same thing, volunteers and back ups. Help putting it up a day or so ahead of time and help taking it all down on Sunday.
3. Help going around and picking up trash Sunday (after it is over). We will do all we can to reduce people sinking cans and bottles, but some still will. Excessive litter is one thing that will get an event such as this shut down. Trust me on this, I talk to the people on a regular basis about their concerns that could easily put an end to our party. Safety and litter are there two top concerns.
4. Help loading and unloading band equipment and helping our sound guy set up.
5. Help passing out and posting The JAM flyer at places where people will see them.
6. Help at our un-disclosed location for coordinating getting people out to The JAM. (Band members, support services, etc.)
7. Big boats (preferably party barges) to get people out there (Master of Ceremonies, Special Guests, band equipment, etc.)
3-20-08
1. People to take pictures and video from wherever they are.
2. Know anybody with a helicopter? We could get much better aerial photos with a helicopter.
3. Need people to post flyers in public places so more know about our party. (Also need them to e-mail to everyone they know and ask them to do the same.
More to come. Check back. If you'd like to help, e-mail me at rob@riverratrob.com or rrr@riverratrob.com
